United Way of Johnson & Washington Counties (UWJWC)
Embodies the way our communities come together to create social change and improve lives.
United Way partners with:
- Nonprofit Organizations, Volunteers & Donors
- Local, State & National Public Policy Makers
- Community Leaders & Area Businesses
To address the challenges we face as a community.
Building on our knowledge, credibility and historic leadership of service, our United Way is helping to lead a community effort that will create both stronger and more comprehensive support systems in the priority areas of education, income stability and health – ensuring that:
- CHILDREN HAVE THE SUPPORT SYSTEMS AND SERVICES TO SUCCEED IN SCHOOL
- INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES ARE FINANCIALLY STABLE AND SELF-SUFFICIENT
- ALL HAVE ACCESS TO MENTAL & PHYSICAL CARE, AND ACCESS TO HEALTHY CHOICES
We know that Large-Scale problems cannot be solved by a single organization.
Finding solutions to these challenges requires the coordinated effort of our entire community.
UWJWC provides the leadership as the convener and the catalyst to help our partners in our communities make lasting change to improve lives.
